Halle Berry packs up her ‘entire closet’ to donate during LA fires

Halle Berry is supporting her community amid the Los Angeles wildfires.

Yesterday, the “Catwoman” star told Instagram followers that she’s packing up her “entire closet” and dropping it off at +COOP, a Beverly Boulevard boutique that is serving as a fire relief pop-up, offering those affected clothing free of charge.

“If you live in the Southern California area, I urge you to do the same,” Berry said in the caption. “This is something we can do right now today to help all of the displaced families that are in need of the basics today!”

Berry then shouted out Sharon Stone for leading the charge, encouraging others to donate gently used clothing, shoes and home items.

“Thank you @sharonstone for your leadership. Love you Lady ❤️,” Berry finished the caption.

She also potentially inspired more celebs to follow suit, with Michelle Pfeiffer commenting, “Can I do tomorrow?”

The “Basic Instinct” actress has been using her platform to spread the word on how people can help, as well as the specific clothing and home categories in need.

Stone posted a video of the shop on IG yesterday, writing, “The Coop – Please come and shop if you were displaced from the fire.”

In the comment section, Berry said, “I’m there. Bringing all I have !!”

The boutique’s founder, real estate agent Jenna Cooper, spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about turning her curated home goods store into a donations pick-up spot.

“I was nauseous and awake being just miles away from such wreckage. I kept thinking, what the hell can I do?” she said to the outlet.

“A client of ours lost their house and someone I work with went to Target to buy essentials. People need stuff immediately and there are people who are willing to shop for them or to donate. Well, I have a space to make it happen.”

“My community has nice things so we’re basically giving the shirts off of our back,” Cooper told the outlet.

As such, she cleaned out the shop to make room for donations. “My community has nice things so we’re basically giving the shirts off of our back,” Cooper explained.

“We set it up to feel like a curated space.”

The fire relief pop-up, located at 7278 Beverly Blvd, is planning to stay open until Sunday; however, according to The Hollywood Reporter, Cooper will make any adjustments needed.
