Britney Spears baffled fans by declaring she ‘married’ herself while posing in a wedding dress and veil, one year after her divorce from Sam Asghari.

The pop superstar, 42, took to her Instagram on Sunday with a video of her in a white silk wedding dress and a matching lace veil.

However, instead of marrying a groom, the Toxic hitmaker surprised fans by announcing she has married herself.

‘The day I married myself… Bringing it back because it might seem embarrᴀssing or stupid, but I think it’s the most brilliant thing I’ve ever done !!!’ she wrote in the caption.

The singer — who recently revealed her ‘crazy girl crushes’ — was seen posing in front of the camera in the bridal white look and adjusting her veil.

Britney teamed her dress with a pair of pointed-toe black heels, and wore her blonde tresses cascading down in waves.

The mom-of-two accessorized with a dainty gold necklace and wore her signature black eyeliner for the special occasion.

The clip was set to ‘Fields of Gold’ by Sting.

The Princess of Pop also posted a snap of an empty church with no caption.

She followed up the video with a poolside clip of herself in a yellow ʙικιɴι, as she enjoyed a day in the sun.

The star then shared another video, wearing a white slip dress and black boots while standing at the entrance of a private jet.

Spears appeared to be flying off to a solo honeymoon.

‘!!! Turks and Caicos here I come,’ she captioned the video.

Britney has been in an on-and-off relationship with Paul Soliz, 38, whom she met while he was doing maintenance work at her home.

The relationship status between the Grammy-winning singer and Soliz remains unclear, as the Toxic singer in July said she was ‘single as f***’ on social media, but seen later in the month at Soho House in Malibu with him.

Spears was seen with some of his kids as recently as August at a Thousand Oaks, California Sky Zone, which is a trampoline park.

Soliz initially worked as a handyman and custodian at Spears’ Southern California home before they were romantically-linked.

He was with Spears during an incident at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles this past May, in which paramedics were called amid an outburst.

Earlier this month, his wife Nicole Mancilla, who has been married to Soliz for eight years, filed for divorce, citing ‘irreconcilable differences.’

Mancilla peтιтioned the court for legal and physical custody of the five minor children she and Soliz share, according to TMZ, noting that she is open to determining a visitation schedule with him.

Mancilla has requested spousal support from Soliz, the outlet reported, and peтιтioned the court to not award him support. The legal docs stated that the pair were wed March 22, 2015 and separated on June 29, 2023.

Meanwhile Spears’ ex-husbamd Asghari filed for divorce from her last year in August, after 14 months of marriage.

The divorce was officially finalized this May, when the pair reached a settlement.

Asghari has since sparked dating rumors after he was spotted at a Los Angeles park with a blonde woman in September.

He was seen getting handsy with his female companion, smacking her ʙuтт at one point, per TMZ.

According to the outlet, the Iranian-American model also placed his hand on the woman’s back while they strolled with the dog Britney gifted him after their engagement in 2021.

Britney and Sam tied the knot on June 9, 2022 at a star-studded ceremony inside her former Thousand Oaks mansion less than a month after they suffered a miscarriage, and they had planned on ‘continuing to try to expand our beautiful family’ which did not happen.

‘I have an appreciation for how stable he is,’ Spears wrote of Asghari in her NY Times-bestselling 2023 memoir The Woman In Me.

‘I love that he doesn’t drink. He’s a gift from God.’
