She’s enjoyed a successful modelling career so far, having graced numerous magazine covers as well as the iconic Victoria’s Secret catwalk.
But Barbara Palvin admitted she is ‘still learning’ to be body confident on Tuesday, as she shared an inspiring lingerie selfie to her Instagram page.
The Hungarian beauty, 24, confidently bared her slender frame in a skimpy sports bra and knickers for her followers – and urged them to ‘listen to their bodies’ in order to ‘feel good in their own skin’ in the caption.
The brunette showed off her enviably slender frame and toned stomach in the snap, as she posed in nothing but a black sports bra and matching underwear.
Leaving her hair un-styled and opting to go make-up free, the model proved her striking natural beauty to all as she bared her true appearance for her followers.
Posing without a filter or enhancements, Barbara discussed the importance of body confidence in the caption – and admitted she had not always been comfortable with her appearance.
She said: ‘This is me… it took me a while to understand what people meant by “listen to your body” – it’s not always easy feeling good in our own skin and it takes time, trust me im still learning.
‘Over the past year I ve discovered so much about my body, how it can change and evolve. One thing is for sure – only you know what’s best for you.’ (sic)
The snap was flooded with comments from her followers, who were quick to laud her physique and atтιтude towards beauty.
The post comes after Barbara revealed she suffers from insecurities like everybody else, despite soaring to fame as a model.
Speaking to Grazia last month, she confessed: ‘I’m constantly at war with my body – staying in shape is a daily challenge.
While all of her shoots put focus on her sensational figure, she went on to admit has that she struggles with maintaining the fashion industry’s notoriously skinny weight ideals.
‘It’s hard for me to respect the rigorous criteria governing a model’s figure,’ she added.
After being discovered aged 13 in Budapest, Barbara made her runway debut for Prada at Milan Fashion Week in 2010 and walked down the runway for Victoria’s Secret two years later.
She has since strutted down the catwalk for Louis Vuitton and Vivienne Westwood, and has appeared in Sports Illustrated, Vogue Portugal, Allure, and Glamour
