Kylie Jenner says ‘thank you God for our firefighters’ amid ᴅᴇᴀᴅly LA fires

Kylie Jenner took a moment on Sunday to express graтιтude to the people battling the Los Angeles wildfires.

The 27-year-old cosmetics mogul — who attended the Golden Globes last week with her boyfriend Timothée Chalamet — shared an Instagram post from InsightLA Meditation dedicated to the city’s fire department.

‘Our appreciation of you is boundless,’ it read, and Kylie added her own note saying, ‘thank you God for our firefighters,’ along with a prayer hands emoji.

Jenner and her family are part of the droves of celebrities who have been forced to flee their mansions as fires sweep through Southern California, though many more of the over 100,000 people who were forced to evacuate have not been wealthy stars.

Some A-listers have escaped the flames, only for their homes to burn to the ground.

Kylie’s older sister Khloé Kardashian, 40, also praised the people on the ground who have dedicated themselves to putting out the historic firestorm and helping with recovery efforts.

The devastation in Southern California began unfolding on Tuesday morning when a combination of heavy wind and lack of rain created the perfect condition for a brush fire in the Pacific Palisades.

The flames quickly spread, and as of Sunday, over 23,000 acres of land have been scorched in the Palisades fire alone, with firefighters still working around the clock to contain the flames there and at other locations throughout LA.

The Pacific Palisades was home to celebrities including Reese Witherspoon, Anna Farris, Tyra Banks and many more.

Paris Hilton lost her Malibu mansion in the blaze and launched an emergency fund, starting with a $100,000 donation to other victims.

Along with her generous contribution, the heiress revealed that she will match ‘additional dollars raised up to $100,000 more’ and said she plans to volunteer on-site this weekend.
