As one of the original supermodels of the seventies and eighties Jerry Hall’s wardrobe of rare runway pieces is highly sought after.

And that is why her own daughter, Georgia May Jagger, is on a quest to buy back her mother’s vintage items after the 68-year-old donated large swathes to a 2008 auction held in aid of a homeless charity.

Georgia May, 33, revealed how she dons pieces handed down to her by Ms Hall to high-profile events because, ‘It’s my way of saying if you have any of my mum’s vintage clothes, I will buy them off you.’

For Vogue World in London in 2023, the daughter of Rolling Stones frontman, Mick Jagger, wore the same Bruce Oldfield gown her mother had been pictured in during the nineties.

Laughing with the London-based designer at a party Ms Hall, known for her old-school Hollywood glamour style, paired the gown with a string of pearls and red lipstick.

Thirty years later Georgia May, known for her barefaced gap-toothed look, sported the same gown with no necklace and a more subtle pink lip while her dyed blonde hair was a nod to her mother’s trademark golden locks.

The mother-of-one also told Vogue how she had purchased her mother’s pale-blue corseted Thierry Mugler dress featuring a rainbow-hued skirt and wore it to the launch of her vegan hair brand, Bleach, in Los Angeles in 2021.

Georgia May revealed her mother pᴀssed down a dozen pieces which she is ‘very precious about’ because her older sister, Lizzy, lost her vintage heirlooms in a fire in 2017.

Ms Hall shares Elizabeth, James, Georgia May and Gabriel with Mick Jagger, 81, who she was married to for nine years during the nineties.

The pair divorced in 1999 with Ms Hall going on to marry media magnate, Rupert Murdoch in 2016 before they split in 2022.

Georgia May welcomed her first child, Dean Lee Jagger Sedlick, in September with her 25-year-old skateboarder boyfriend, Cambryan Sedlick, 25.

The Vogue interview comes just after Georgia May joined Lennon Gallagher and his girlfriend Isobel Richmond at the Fendi Winter Holiday 2024 Collection Launch in London back in November.

The model looked chic in a classy checkered co-ord as she teamed a knee length pencil skirt with a matching trench coat and a pale blue long sleeved top.

Georgia topped off her outfit with a pair of beige strappy heels and styled her hair into loose curls.

Updating her Instagram followers on their baby’s arrival, Georgia shared: ‘Our Son Dean Lee Jagger Sedlick was born September 30th. We are so in Love and happy and can’t stop staring at him.

‘Thanks @cambryans for being so incredible through everything and taking such good care of us.’

Georgia’s mother Jerry, who made a sweet appearance in one of the polaroid snaps, originally shared the announcement to Instagram, revealing her grandson’s name.

She wrote: ‘Georgia May and my grandson Dean Lee Jagger Sedlick’.
