Paris Hilton has been praised by fans after she spent a day giving back to those afflicted by the LA fires.

The star stepped up to volunteer at numerous organizations on Sunday, including the Pasadena Humane Society, where she met a cat who was separated from his family during the blaze in Altadena.

Hilton, who heartbreakingly lost her own Malibu home in the Palisades fire, stroked the cat as she stood by his cage in a video attempting to reunite the feline with his owner.

The animal lover, 43, is also opening her home to a foster dog whose family had to surrender him after they lost their own home.

‘Hey everybody I am here at Pasadena Humane Society and today I am here with this cat,’ Paris began as she stood by the cat.

‘He has been here for four days so far and does not have a collar or a microchip so they don’t know who its owner is, so I wanted to show him so you guys could see and so he can go back to his home.

‘And I’m also going to be fostering another dog who was surrendered by his family who lost their home in the fire.

‘And we’re going to go and see if there’s any other dogs where they’re still looking for their owners and just wanna tell everyone and this is such an incredible charity. What they do for animals and they’re doing so much work. So what’s most important is getting donations.’

‘I just wanted to come here today and to share my platform and raise awareness and really highlight incredible foundations that are just doing this work because this is is – these are our babies. And we’re going to find your owner.’

‘I love you!’ she told the kitty. ‘And he was from the Altadena fires,’ she added.

She included details about the cat on the video and shared a longer clip of her doting on the animal.

Paris gained a new fan that day as the cat was clearly loving the affection, even nuzzling her LA Dodgers cap.

‘I love you,’ she gushed.

Paris also stopped by Baby2Baby, a non-profit benefiting children living in poverty, in addition to a Hilton in Montebello, a city in Los Angeles County.

Hilton said the H๏τel was hosting families displaced by the fires and she was dropping off various items to give to them.

‘Yesterday, I had the privilege of volunteering to support the inspiring impact work happening across my home city, Los Angeles (glittering heart emoji). The day was such a powerful reminder that by lending a helping hand, or donating what you can, we all have the power to help those in need,’ she said.

‘My first stop was @Baby2Baby, where my team and I helped pack essential supplies for babies and young children. Then we got a chance to visit @PasadenaHumane and was so moved by their life-saving work to help our animal community. I’m so grateful that I’m able to bring home Zuzu, our new foster (pet and heart emojis) whose family unfortunately had to surrender her after their home was destroyed in the wildfires.
