A source tells People that Megan is “devastated and very emotional,” and that she “feels like she can’t trust [MGK]. They have had so many issues in the past. Megan was always hopeful that they would be able to work it out.”
That said, “She seems over it now.”
This update comes after a previous insider told the outlet that Megan was “blindsided” by the split, has “been distraught,” and is “trying to focus on” preparing for the arrival of her and MGK’s baby.
TMZ first broke news of Megan and Machine Gun Kelly’s breakup a few days ago, reporting that it happened over Thanksgiving weekend in Vail, Colorado—where the couple was vacationing. According to the outlet, “The reason for their split is that Megan found material on MGK’s phone that was upsetting, and it made her want him to leave the trip early.”
Meanwhile, an Us Weekly insider reports that Megan and MGK were “trying to make it work again after the pregnancy, but they are both too H๏τ-headed and fell back into their constant fighting. They can’t get on the same page and it’s not easy for them being together.”
