Tom Hanks’ Pacific Palisades home is miraculously still standing.
The $26 million home, which was purchased by the “Forrest Gump” star and his wife, Rita Wilson, in 2010, narrowly avoided the flames from the ongoing Los Angeles wildfire, as seen in pH๏τos obtained by Page Six Thursday.
While Hanks’ four-bedroom, five-bathroom house appears untouched, the mᴀssive cliffside mansion just above his was destroyed by the blaze.
Hanks and Wilson purchased the home in 2010.Tom and Wilson’s son Chet Hanks spoke out about the devastating Palisades Fire on Instagram, saying, “The neighborhood I grew up in is burning to the ground rn. Pray for the Palisades.”
While Tom and Wilson, both 68, purchased their current property when Chet was an adult, they previously owned a Spanish-style villa — built in 1929 — in the Pacific Palisades.
The couple bought the property as newlyweds and sold it in 2014 for $5 million, according to the Los Angeles Times.
The “Cast Away” actor also bought a 1,800-square-foot beach house in Malibu in 1991, which he reportedly still owns. It’s unclear whether the home is still standing.
Page Six reached out to reps for both Tom and Wilson for comment.
