Zoe Saldana won her first ever Golden Globe award on Sunday, with fans praising her fellow nominee and co-star Selena Gomez for her reaction.
Both Saldana, 46, and Gomez, 32, were both nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy or Musical for their roles in the Netflix hit Emilia Perez.
While many were expecting Wicked star Ariana Grande to take home the award, Saldana beat out Grande, Gomez plus Felicity Jones (The Brutalist), Margaret Qualley (The Substance) and Isabella Rossellini (Conclave) for the award.
Just moments before the winner was announced, Gomez was seen mouthing, ‘Zoe Zoe Zoe’ before her co-star’s name was announced, as she leapt to her feet, embracing her mother before turning to Gomez and saying, ‘I love you!’
She then walked over to Gomez and shared an embrace before walking up to accept her award.
Fans quickly took to social media to praise Gomez’s reaction, especially since she was nominated for the same award herself.
