Tom Holland and Zendaya built their romance on the foundation of friendship, after starring together as iconic couple Peter Parker and MJ in Spider-Man: Homecoming.

The British actor, 26, and the Euphoria star, 25, played coy and laughed off the relationship rumors circulating them for years, after the couple’s onscreen chemistry made fans hopeful that the sparks were real. 

Zendaya referred to her co-star as her ‘best friend’ and ‘mate’ while denying any romance by stating she and Tom were just friends.

However, when the dynamic duo were spotted sharing a kiss in Tom’s car in July of 2021, it was all but confirmed that the young couple’s friendship had blossomed into something more.

Since then, the pair have been more open about their relationship, stepping out together at events and even wearing matching jerseys with each other’s names at a hockey game in 2022.   

And it seems as though now the pair are counting down the days until they are officially Mr and Mrs Holland as TMZ has claimed they are engaged.

This comes after she flashed a diamond engagement ring at the Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday.

January 5, 2025: Zendaya triggers engagement speculation at the Golden Globes

Zendaya sparked engagement rumors when she hit the Golden Globes red carpet sporting a mᴀssive diamond on her left ring finger. And she appeared to have a new ‘T’ tattoo on her ribcage which is speculated to be a nod to Tom. 

It is speculated the pair became fiancé’s over the holidays ‘between Christmas and New Year’s,’ per TMZ. According to the outlet, Tom proposed ‘in a very intimate setting in one of Zendaya’s family homes in the United States.’

They said he popped the question when the two were along and that the moment was ‘romantic and not over the top.’

Though the pair have yet to confirm the engagement speculation, Zendaya’s new stunning solitaire diamond is estimated to be worth upward of $500,000.

Tom reportedly received the blessing of Zendaya’s father Kazembe Ajamu Coleman months before proposing to the actress and finding the right time.

January 2, 2025: Tom Holland reveals why he doesn’t walk red carpets with Zendaya 

Tom admitted that he does not hit the red carpet with his lady love because he wants her to be the center of attention.

During an interview with Men’s Health for the magazine’s January-February 2025 cover, he got candid about making moments exclusively about Zendaya, not them together.

‘It’s not my moment, it’s her moment, and if we go together, it’s about us,’ he told the outlet while posing for various Sєxy snaps.

October 17, 2024: Tom says he takes ‘great pride’ in being a handyman for Zendaya

While on the admitted on Rich Roll podcast, Tom admitted he takes ‘great pride’ in being a handyman for Zendaya using the skills his grandfather taught him.

‘If something breaks in Zendaya’s house, I take huge pride in fixing it,’ he told the outlet. ‘The other day, she has this guest room, which was … it wasn’t the greatest room, like it needed some love.’

The actor added, ‘I built her these cupboards and put a new wardrobe up for her and fitted it in so it looked like it was part of the wall. And I was very proud of myself.’

March 18, 2024: Zendaya and Tom sing along to Whitney Houston at BNP Paribas Open 

Tom Holland and Zendaya goofed around at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, California as they sang along to Whitney Houston’s I Wanna Dance with Somebody.

Eagle-eyed fans took to social media to share clips of the two dancing in their seats to the music in between sets.

Zendaya also starred in a tennis inspired film, Challengers, that released one month later, in April.

After the match, the actress rushed to congratulate the winner of the big match, Iga Swiatek, as they posed together near the tennis court.

February 22, 2024: Zendaya gushes over Tom’s ‘beautiful charisma’ 

Zendaya admitted that Tom has ‘beautiful charisma’ during BuzzFeed’s puppy interview when asked to name the Dune: Part Two cast member with the most ‘rizz.’

‘Rizz is short for charisma, right? Everybody’s kind of got their own,’ the model responded. 

‘I think someone who has beautiful charisma, not on the Dune cast, but I know personally, works for me, is Mr. Tom Holland.’

She admitted that she’s on the ‘quiet’ side, so the Spider-Man star’s people skills have always impressed her.

January 14, 2023: Tom reveals he and Zendaya rewatch Spider-Man to ‘reminisce’ over their early romance 

While attending the Critics Choice Awards, Tom told Extra he and Zendaya ‘watch Spider-Man 1 and reminisce’ about the early stages of their relationship and being teenagers.

He told the outlet: ‘Zendaya and I will, every now and then, watch Spider-Man 1 and reminisce about being 19 and making those movies again.

‘I love those movies, and I love savoring those moments, so I try not to watch them as often as I would maybe like to because it’s so special. It’s such a luxury, such a gift to be able to sit down and sort of relive your youth.’

August 23, 2023: Zendaya says she wants to ‘protect the peace’ in their relationship

Zendaya says she want to ‘protect the peace’ in her and Tom’s relationship because of their high-profile status.

She told Elle: ‘I can’t not be a person and live my life and love the person I love. You can’t hide. That’s not fun either. I am navigating it more than ever now.’

The star told the outlet she is cautious about what she reveals about her private life, but understands she cant ‘hide’ certain aspects.

‘It’s about protecting the peace and letting things be your own but also not being afraid to exist.’

July 10, 2023: Tom reveals the reason he keeps his relationship with Zendaya private

Tom got candid about keeping his relationship with Zendaya out of the spotlight, claiming it’s the ‘thing he keeps most sacred’.

He said on Jay Shetty’s podcast: ‘My relationship is the thing I keep most sacred. I don’t talk about it. I try my best to keep it as private as possible.’

‘We both feel like that is the healthiest way for us to move on as a couple, so I do try to keep as removed from Hollywood as possible,’ he added.

March 20, 2023: Zendaya showcases gold signet ring engraved with Tom’s initials

Zendaya was seen wearing a gold signet ring that features an engraved ‘T’ and ‘H’, presumably Tom’s initials in a video posted on her manicurist Marina Dobic’s Instagram account.

The star wore the ring on her middle finger while flaunting her newly painted fingernails.

She has been seen wearing the dainty addition on various occasions. It has not been confirmed when Tom gave her the ring or how much it cost the actor.

June 15, 2022: Zendaya denies being pregnant after TikTok hoax claiming she was expecting her first child goes viral

Zendaya put an end to rumors that she was pregnant with her first child, after a TikTok prank went viral.

The video featured a fake sonogram pH๏τo that was pH๏τoshopped to look as if the Primetime Emmy Award winner had posted it herself.

The star took to her Instagram Stories to set the story straight, complaining that people are ‘just making stuff up for no reason.’

June 1, 2022: Zendaya shares a lovely Instagram birthday post for Tom

Zendaya gushed over her boyfriend Tom in a special birthday message for the Spider-Man star shared to her Instagram.

To celebrate the actor turning 26, she posted a classic black and white snap of the pair embracing together, with a touching caption underneath.

‘Happiest of birthdays to the one who makes me the happiest,’ she wrote with a heart symbol.

Less than an hour later, Tom responded to the post leaving three heart emojis below it.

February 18, 2022: Tom shuts down rumors that he bought a house with Zendaya

After it was reported that Tom and Zendaya had purchased a new home together following their visit to his native U.K., the actor clarified the matter during an appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan on February 18, 2022.

‘I have had so many people call me up because apparently I bought a new house in South London. Which is completely false! I didn’t buy a new house!’

The Uncharted actor, who was raised in Southwest London, joked, ‘I was like, “Wow! What I surprise! I wonder when I’ll get the keys.”‘

February 17, 2022: Zendaya and Tom show their love by wearing jerseys with each other’s names on the back at New York Rangers game

The couple became increasingly more open about showing their love for each other in public.

And in February of 2021 they made a cute statement as they attended a New York Rangers game at Madison Square Garden while wearing jerseys with each other’s names on the back.

Both stars had on the Rangers’ blue, white and red jerseys, but the actress turned around to reveal that she had her boyfriend’s last name printed on the back, and he had her name on his shirt.

The Euphoria star and her beau were dressed elegantly for the occasion, with Zendaya – who was born Zendaya Maree Stoermer Coleman – looking stylish in a black shirt dress that reached down to her thighs, putting the spotlight on her long stocking-covered legs.

Tom looked effortlessly dapper in a light gray suit with slim lapels, which he dressed down with a black turtleneck.

December 17, 2021: Their third movie together, Spider-Man: No Way Home, hits the theaters

The sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) and Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019) was released on December 17, 2021.

Holland reprised his role as the тιтular character from earlier films while his girlfriend returned to the series as well.

It became the third-highest-grossing film at domestic box offices, earning a whooping $760.988 million in U.S. and Canadian ticket sales, and over $1.8 billion worldwide.

December 15, 2021: Zendaya gushes over how ‘proud’ she is of Tom as she shares then-and-now snaps of the actor as the web-slinging hero 

Zendaya took a moment to gush over her beau Tom ahead of the release of their highly-anticipated film Spider-Man: No Way Home.

The star shared snaps of Tom playing Spider-Man on screen and dressing up as the web-slinging hero as a child.

‘My Spider-Man, I’m so proud of you, some things never change and good thing,’ captioned Zendaya, who also tagged her other half in the post.

The couple were joined by their Spider-Man: No Way Home co-stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Jacob Batalon on the ABC talk show.

The two may have hit the Ballon d’Or awards red carpet separately after confirming their romance.

But Zendaya and Tom did not stray too far away from each other backstage at the event.

The two stars cuddled up for a cute snap together while enjoying the evening at Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris in November of 2021.

September 1, 2021: Tom makes their romance Instagram official as he wishes girlfriend Zendaya the ‘happiest of birthdays’
