Demi has been lying low since revealing her beloved father Barrie has died aged 80.

The devastated model shared a pH๏τo of them together as she broke the news of his death in a heartbreaking post on Instagram on Friday night.

She penned in the caption: ‘R.I.P Dad. You were the best father I could’ve ever wished for. The most caring, supportive, knowledgable and loving man I’ve ever known.’

Demi added: ‘God bless you and thank you for everything. Hope to see you one day in heaven again. 03.10.18.’

She grew up with her bank manager dad and mum Christine, 63, in their £300,000 home in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham.

Barrie previously gushed about Demi’s career, revealing that it was a three-year health and beauty course that changed her life.

‘She was always interested in beauty and a good-looking girl to boot,’ he told MailOnline in 2016. ‘I could always see it coming as she’s very ambitious.’

Her mum Christine, a former NHS wheelchair advisor, added that Demi didn’t believe she had the looks to make it as a model.

‘Demi Rose didn’t think she was quite good enough but she excelled in beauty school and it her made her ambitious to pursue her dreams,’ she said in 2016.

‘We don’t mind at all. She always said she wouldn’t do nudity not that we’ve told her not to, her pictures are racy and suggestive but she shows them all to us.

‘We’re right behind her. She’s such a beautiful girl, why shouldn’t she? If you’ve got it, flaunt it.’
