The Daily Mail this week reported that the racy snaps came after Demi revealed that she went on a vodka binge and took anti-depressants aged just 15 after being bullied at school.
In a new interview she stated how she turned to drink after watching her “parents’ patterns”, recalling how “things became too much” for her.
Demi, who has since found fame thanks to her raunchy snaps, told how things turned around for her when she joined MySpace.
Speaking on the Dirty Mother Pukka podcast, Demi detailed some tough moments from the past, with her tormentors putting chewing gum in her hair.
She said: “Through my childhood at school, I just got bullied by everyone. Boys, girls, and so I wasn’t really able to learn. Everyone just used to like to pick on me, put chewing gum in my hair, like, just to wind me up for their own entertainment.”
The stunner reportedly went on to say that around the same time she was diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome, “which means you’re tired all the time”, which she described as “more like depression”.
